Being a celebrity is great… until you’re not one anymore.

Chieko Makiguchi went from TV star to nobody almost overnight, and the only way out of her bleak future is to marry the millionaire her parents have picked for her. On paper, it sounds like a great option, but Chieko’s history of failed romances has left her ready to shut down all emotions, including love.

Barth Jefferson’s glory days on the football field are over, and now he has to redefine his purpose in life.
