Living her dream in Toronto, pop artist Grace Taylor has everything she could want, until she’s faced with career-altering challenges. On top of which, she is unexpectedly called home to visit her grandmother. Her music at a stand-still, she returns to Summerside and a life she left behind, where she finds her family shaken. When she meets Alex Foster, a film student and photography buff, she agrees on a whim to be the subject of his documentary.

Alex has only ever dreamed of meeting someone like Grace. Now he has her help with his biggest project yet. As he returns to school at UPEI for his final semester, working with her seems like perfection—but not part of her original plan.

Grace sees Alex and his documentary project as a welcome distraction. But as they work together on the film, she is equally challenged by his ambitions and his devotion to God. She trusts Alex with her secrets, but will she learn to embrace the goals she once set aside?
